# These segments might be helpful
**Not a member**
This segment contains all contacts who are not active members, e.g. former members who have cancelled their subscription, contacts you have added manually or subscribers to your newsletter (if you use Mailchimp synchronisation). Use the following search parameters to set up this segment:
**Membership expired last week**
This segment shows all contacts whose membership has expired in the last seven days. Use the following search parameters to set up this segment (you can of course set the days as you wish):
**Pays > x Euro**
With this segment you can filter users who pay at least a certain amount per month, for example 10 euros. This is helpful if members who pay more than a certain amount should receive certain benefits, thank-you gifts or a special newsletter. At the same time, you can also create a segment for members who pay less than a certain amount (second screenshot). Use the following search parameters to set up this segment:
**Consent to receive mailings**
This segment shows all members who have agreed to receive mailings. This is useful, for example, if you publish a regular print magazine that members receive free of charge in their homes. You can also restrict the segment further, for example with a minimum amount members have to pay to get the magazine home for free. Just add another rule (see second screenshot).
