## Step by Step:

1. Under *Administration*, go to *CrowdNewsroom* and then click *Create CrowdNewsroom* (top right).
2. Write an [introductory text](/help-center-english/engagement/crowdnewsroom/how-to-create-a-crowdnewsroom/crowdnewsroom-content.md) (the first page of your Crowdnewsroom) and a [end message](/help-center-english/engagement/crowdnewsroom/how-to-create-a-crowdnewsroom/end-message.md) (the last page of your Crowdnewsroom).

3. Create your [first slide](/help-center-english/engagement/crowdnewsroom/how-to-create-a-crowdnewsroom/crowdnewsroom-content.md) (the first page of your CrowdNewsroom). To do this, simply click on the button *1: Slide 1.* Here you can add various questions and content blocks using drag and drop. You can learn more about the different content types [here](/help-center-english/engagement/crowdnewsroom/how-to-create-a-crowdnewsroom/crowdnewsroom-content/these-question-types-exist.md).

For the sake of simplicity, we will only add one text field. You can simply drag it with your mouse from the right-hand side to the center.
4. When you have dragged the text field over, a window opens automatically. You can set many things here. To start with, however, it is sufficient to enter the label (your question). Then you can click on *Save*.

5. Add a *title*, a *short description* and a *cover image* under [*Title and Image*](/help-center-english/engagement/crowdnewsroom/how-to-create-a-crowdnewsroom/title-and-image.md).

6. Now click on the [*Settings*](/help-center-english/engagement/crowdnewsroom/how-to-create-a-crowdnewsroom/response-settings.md) tab. Here you should switch off the *Show Crowdneswroom in member dashboards* function, at least for your first test CrowdNewsroom (you will need to scroll down a little to do this).

Otherwise, the CrowdNewsroom will automatically appear in your community dashboard.

The *Publish* button at the top right should now be dark gray and you can publish your CrowdNewsroom by clicking on it.
7. A window will then open where you can copy the [link](/help-center-english/engagement/crowdnewsroom/how-to-create-a-crowdnewsroom/url-and-sharing.md) to the CrowdNewsroom (for your newsletter, for example) and view the answers.
Congratulations! You have just created your first CrowdNewsroom. You have now understood the principle behind this tool. You can find more in-depth information on the following pages or simply try it out for yourself. There's still a lot to discover and you've already made a start!
