# Sales Tax

beabee is able to charge VAT on membership fees and to display this throughout the entire registration process. If your membership fees are subject to VAT, you are on the safe side when it comes to billing. 

The VAT is displayed in the registration process (see screenshots) and is also transferred to Stripe, where it is stored for accounting purposes and also shown on invoices. 

You can set the VAT rate you want to apply yourself. On the next page you will learn how to do this.
