# How to create members-only CrowdNewsroom

In the *Access and security* section of the Settings tab, you can decide who should be able to answer a CrowdNewsroom.

Use the toggle *Open to everyone* to restrict the CrowdNewsroom for only logged-in participants

If you enable *Show* CrowdNewsroom *in members dashboards*, logged-in members will see the CrowdNewsroom when they log in the their account. If this option is disabled, the CrowdNewsroom can be shared with a link.

If participating via link, members will then be asked to log in with their email address and password.

**NB**: non-active members that have a user account are not allowed to participate.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter:

```
GET https://wiki.beabee.io/help-center-english/engagement/crowdnewsroom/how-to-create-a-crowdnewsroom/response-settings/how-to-create-members-only-crowdnewsroom.md?ask=<question>
```

The question should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.
