How to change the CrowdNewsroom URL

To customise the URL of a CrowdNewsroom, go to the section Title and Image and scroll down to Perrmalink

  1. Normally, the URL is automatically generated from the title of the CrowdNewsroom. If you do not want this, deactivate the toggle next to Auto-generate slug from title

  2. A new window will open, where you can add the customized link. The first part will be set als https://your.name/crowdnewsroom/

  3. You can then adapt the back part of the URL, the so-called slug, by entering the desired slug in the text field. Important: Some special characters such as Umlauts ("ä", "ö", "ü", "ß") or punctuation marks such as "?", "/" or "&" do not work here. They are automatically filtered out.

Important: Once the CrowdNewsroom has been published, you can no longer change the URL. The slug should therefore be as unique as possible and still easy to identify.
