These question types exist

beabee offers many different question types for surveys. There are both qualitative and quantitative question types. Read here which ones are available:

Text Field

A text field is suitable for short free-text answers, e.g. also to query names, addresses or short statements.

Text Area

For longer free-text answers, the Text Area is recommended. Here, participants can formulate much longer answers. A text area is useful for qualitative questions in which participants should report in detail on their own experiences or formulate ideas.

Checkbox

With a checkbox you can ask for consent, e.g. whether participants want to receive an evaluation of the answers by e-mail.

Select Boxes

With Select Boxes you can ask multiple-choice questions. This is suitable if participants should be able to select several answer options at the same time.

Select

In Select, participants have to choose an answer from a drop-down menu.

Radio

With radio, too, participants have to decide on an answer. However, they are not displayed as a drop-down menu, but as a list.
