Legal requirements for self-onboarding

All our newsrooms have to sign two contracts: A service agreement and a data processing agreement. At the moment these contracts have to be signed by the newsroom using beabee and David Schraven as director of CORRECTIV. For future onboarding this process should work automated.

Legal Requierements:

It's possible to do it without actually signing the contracts. For that we need to make sure that...

• ...Newsrooms know, that they are "signing" a contract

  • Needs a tick box saying:

    • "I have read and agree to the service agreement and data processing agreement."

  • Button should say something like "sign" to make it clearer

• ...it is possible to download both contracts (can be just a link in the sentence above)

• ...we show the date of the current contract version

• ...the basic details of the service agreement are made clear somewhere in the onboarding process (not only in the actual contract)

• ...we gather and save informations about who the other contracting party is

  • Name of the organisation

  • Name of the authorised person we are dealing with

  • Address of the organisation
