A list of the current feature set of beabee (Last updated: November 10, 2021)
Summary

beabee is currently in a beta test phase. First users can manage all their community contacts in beabee (CRM), process payments for memberships, allow their community members access to their own user dashboard to edit their data and also set up variations of polls and surveys to gather input from their community.
Below we list the main functionality available to testers:
Organise
User area for community members
Users can manage their own data and participate in surveys and investigations through their own member or user area.
User can login to a member area
User can see and update personal information
User can view contribution history (coming soon)
User can change their contribution (amount/type)
User can get notifications about actions to take (set up manually by newsroom)
User can participate in surveys
User can delete their data (coming soon)
Filter the contact database and create user segments
Community Organisers can search the database by using preset or individual filters.
Community Organiser can create own filter, combining various data points by using "and/or" logic (e.g. user is a newsletter subscriber and pays more than 5 Euros/month)
Community Organiser can filter database by using preset user segments (e.g. membership expiring in 14 days)
Community Organiser can save self-created filters as a user segment
Send Emails to segments of users
Community Organisers can send one-off or recurring emails to all users, segments of users or single users in the database. Note: There are no email templates, only simple text emails.

Mailchimp Synchronisation
Beabee integrates with Mailchimp in order to give a better overview of all community contacts and to keep data up- to-date in both systems.

User can subscribe to newsletters in the beabee registration process
Collaborate
Create Callouts / Surveys
Community Organisers and editors can create callouts / surveys directly in beabee. This can be a simple one-line form to allow users to send questions to the newsrooms or a long survey.
Community organisers can create a form with an integrated form builder
Community organisers can add a number of settings to the call-out like an expiry date, making a survey anonymous or allow to edit answers after submitting.
Community organisers can create a thank you message

beabee provides newsrooms with their own signup form (compliant with GDPR) and integrates with the payment provider GoCardless, to set up automatic recurring payments from users.
