Create groups in Mailchimp
To allow people to sign up for your newsletter while filling out a CrowdNewsroom, Mailchimp groups need to be linked to your beabee instance.
If you're already working with Mailchimp groups, please enter the names of the groups that should be linked to beabee in corresponding table in the Google Doc. The beabee team will then take care of linking them to your beabee instance.
If you haven’t created any groups in mailchimp yet, please set them up. The beabee team will then link them to your beabee instance.
Log in to your Mailchimp account and click Audience on the left side.

Click More options and select Groups.

Click Create Group in the top right corner. A pop-up window will appear. Select Hidden and give the group category any name you like. If you send only one newsletter, create a single group option with any name (e.g., Survey Participants, Newsletter). If you send multiple newsletter, you can create several group options (e.g., Daily, Monthly).

Click Create Group.
Now enter the names of your group category and group option(s) into the table in the Google Doc. The beabee team will then handle the connection to beabee for you.
If you encounter any problems setting up the groups, feel free to contact [email protected].
