Welcome Email
beabee automatically sends new members a welcome email as soon as they complete their registration. In the welcome email, you should greet new members to your community, thank them for their contribution, and explain what they can expect as a member.
To set up a welcome email, go to Settings, select Emails, and click on the email template with the subject: Welcome.
Here, enter the subject and message you want to use to welcome your new community member.
Done! Click Save, and now every new member will be welcomed with this email.
Do you need a few tips on what to include in your welcome email and how to phrase it? Here are some ideas from us:
Welcome them, thank them for their support and voluntary contribution
Explain what they can expect from their membership, how they can get involved, and what the first steps of their membership are
Be as honest and transparent as possible – for example, explain how their money is being used
Explain and link where they can log in to update their information, and make yourself approachable for questions
Show your personal side
