# Activate or Deactivate Standard Emails

You can also deactivate certain emails. Basic emails, such as those for resetting a password, can be customized but not fully deactivated. The emails you can deactivate are: Contribution Cancelled, One-Time Contribution Confirmation, and Admin Notifications.

1. To deactivate an email, click on the corresponding email template.

2. Then simply click on *Deactivate*.

3. Done! You can reactivate an email at any time by re-entering the text and clicking *Save*.
