# Produkte

Das Hauptprodukt von Mecseki Müzli ist ein wöchentlicher Newsletter, den Gründer Ervin Güth jeden Donnerstag an seine Abonnenten verschickt. Der Newsletter widmet sich ausschließlich lokalen Themen, sammelt die wichtigsten Nachrichten der vergangenen Woche und liefert Hintergründe und vereinzelt auch Faktenchecks zu diesen. Weitere Themen sind die Geschichte der Stadt Pécs, Kultur, Gastronomie und Unterhaltung. Güth bezeichnet den Stil des Newsletters als „eigenwillig” und versucht in jedem Newsletter ein Zeichenlimit von 12.000 Zeichen einzuhalten, was in etwa einer Lesezeit von 7 Minuten entspricht.

Den Erfolg des Newsletters misst Güth anhand von Kennzahlen wie der Öffnungs- und der Wachstumsrate. Außerdem bittet er seine Community regelmäßig um Feedback.  

Als freier Journalist arbeitet Ervin Güth auch für Telex, einem unabhängigen investigativen Medium, wo er vor allem zu lokalen Themen recherchiert. Mit Telex hat er eine Content-Partnerschaft geschlossen, die es ihm erlaubt, die Recherchen auch für Mecseki Müzli zu verwenden. 

Mit einer Förderung des International Press Institute (IPI) und Internews konnte Mecseki Müzli sein Angebot um längere Artikel wie Reportagen und einen Podcast ergänzen, in dem Güth regelmäßig Experten interviewt.
