# Revenue Streams / Finance

Magločistač's financial situation can currently be considered precarious. The only significant source of income are grants from organisations abroad. In the past, these have included the German Development Cooperation (GIZ). The British Council is currently funding a project by Magločistač, which aims to create paid content for local businesses. In 2023, the total revenue was around 33,000 euros in project funding.

Magločistač also tries to generate income from reader revenue and asks for support via Patreon or Buy me a coffee. However, due to the special legal situation with the processing of donations in Serbia, the income from this is marginal (see chapter Blockers / Challenges).

Although three crowdfunding campaigns in 2020 and 2021 generated a considerable amount of revenue, Magločistač is currently unable to run any more week-long campaigns due to the team's limited resources.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://wiki.beabee.io/community-journalismus/english/pioneer-portraits/maglocistac-serbia/revenue-streams-finance.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
