# Who creates the wiki?

### The Community Journalism Wiki is a project by CORRECTIV.StartHub.

[CORRECTIV.StartHub](https://correctiv.org/projekte/starthub/) is the go-to place for everyone who wants to start or has already started a community-centred local media project in Germany. We offer networking, learning resources, extensive experience, and exchange opportunities for over 100 media starters. Our goal is to contribute—with the tools of journalism—to an empathetic, well-informed, and engaged society, thereby building a stable foundation for democracy at the local level.

### **And who writes the contributions? ✒️**

The content of the Community Journalism Wiki has been created, among others, by the CORRECTIV team. It is based on own ideas and experiences in community journalism, as well as collaboration with numerous community-centred newsrooms.

Beyond that, anyone can help shape the wiki by contributing their own articles—such as case studies, templates, or practical tips. Our vision is to fill the wiki with a diverse range of voices from the field.

**So far, contributors include:**

* **CORRECTIV:** Marc Engelhardt, Julia Hildebrand, Tobias Hauswurz, Anton Reckmann, Svenja Schilling
* **Direct contributions from founders:** Pauline Tillmann (e.g., karla, DEINE KORRESPONDENTIN)
* **Founders interviewed:** Lucas Batt (The Bristol Cable), Catarina Carvalho (Mensagem), Mirana Dmitrovic (Magločistač), Alex Enășescu (Iașul Nostru), Ervin Güth (Mecseki Müzli), Samuel Hufschmid (Bajour), Simon Jacoby (Tsüri), Lois Kapila (Dublin Inquirer), Vicent Partal (Vilaweb), Zlatko Romić (Magločistač), Georg Watzlawek (Bürgerportal Bergisch Gladbach)
